Race Analysis 325 Chepstow 2miles Chase Last season, Zambezi Fix began the season with 3 runs over hurdles before going over fences to win this race, it tries to repeat the trick after the exact same build up and is also on the same mark.If it runs to the level of last season then its a big player and anything around 5.5 is value. Davids Well won an ordinary race on its first go over fences and with improvement expected ,I would expect it to go well. The same could be said for King Of Tara but it looks much tighter on the prices. Dr T J Eckleburg produced a career best last time and likes soft ground(4w-1p-10r) but it needs to find more to take this. Doyouknowhatimean is a bigger price than id have it as 2 miles on soft ground could be ideal while Royal Jewel and Lucky Lugger looks poor value at the current prices. Race Analysis  230 Kempton 3miles Chase This years King George is a fascinating race, with several with chances and one or two with doubts. Spillane Tower is improving and with a record of 2w-1p-3r in grade 1`s then its a fair fav.Only raced once over this trip but I doubt it will be a problem.Banbridge has its stamina to prove but finished well around here last year over shorter,so it may well get it but im not keen on finding out against proven stayers. Bravemansgame loves it here(2w-1p-3) but its recent ratings suggest, it isn`t good enough anymore while Grey Dawning has the ratings but had a hard race on its reappearance and that worries me. Il Est Francais won doing handsprings over CD last year and on that run,would definitely have chances but its not got close to that run in its two efforts this year,so looks tight on the current prices.Envoi Allen isnt far off the top rated horses and I`m a little surprised its double figures in the market. Race Analysis 130 Haydock 2miles chase Intimate was given a very considerate ride first time over fences and could obviously be much better than this mark,the trainer is 37% with her chasers and its a fair fav but the right price. Netywell is 4w-1p-7r on heavy ground and 4w-1p-8r between Dec and Feb so its got a fair bit going for it but i dont think it has much in hand off this mark and is around the right price. One that isnt the right price is Findthetime which is an incredible price.Ive either got this totally wrong or this is the best VALUE price you will see for a long time.It posted a good rating last time out over further but its best rating from last season would see it going very close.I also like the the fact its 4w-2p-8r on soft/heavy ground and 3 from 6 between Dec and Feb.The only small concern is the trainers horses arent flying at the moment but id consider anything over 6.0 a good price,so this mornings price is BIG! Race Analysis 130 Uttoxeter 2m4f chase The majority of the prices about right here,by far the most likely winner is Flash in the Park who has only had 2 runs over fences and just 5 runs in total,so this is horse is obviously improving and unexposed.It tops my figures with a + and anything above 4.0 is value. Theres several who are fairly unexposed over fences who could improve .Of those Taras Halls looks a little short to me currently but not as short as Heros De Romay  who looks pretty poor value to me at the morning prices. Seefin makes its chase debut so who knows but the stable jockey has gone to Ascot.Knockamore represents a little value for jockey/trainer that have a 33% strike rate together but of the bigger prices,Clonakilly is probably the most out of line with my prices.It pulled up last time out on really heavy ground,if you forgive that then its best runs would see it coming home second here. (Flash in the Park jumped great until the last but the jock just let it drift ...

Race Analysis(Just the one race today) 207 Ffos Las 3m1 Chase Loads of deadwood here and i make it a 2 horse race. Haut Folin is solid and any improvement from its reappearance run will make it tough to beat,however its a little shorter than i would have it now. Scorpion King produced its career best rating last time out around the course and distance and with the trainer/jockey combo operating at a decent 26% strike rate( 4 from 8 over fences) its value at anything over 4.0. Mumbles moves up a mile in trip but it really needs to improve for it while Bobmahley would have chances if you went back far enough but for now,its got it to do. Wide to West looks far too short to me even at 7/1,ive got it around the 20s mark,even its best runs from last season leave it needing to find 7Ibs for me. Race Analysis 1227 Lingfield 2m chase The prices are generally about right in this event.I have Smart Casual as fav as the yard are going well and this horse is unexposed over fences,if it drifted to 4.5 then i would get involved. Superstylin likes it here 1w-2p-3r and the rating from last time out was a career best but i feel its a little tight in the betting as it will probably need another career best here. Angels Dream is inconsistent and is a bit underpriced for me although it might come on for its recent reappearance. Robins Field is overpriced on my figures but doesnt win ,which is obviously a concern but probably the best value in a tight race is Hokelami,whos mark is tumbling.Its 3 from 6 in fields of 7 or less and on its best rating from last season,its bang there.  245 Wincanton 2m4f chase Gyenyame looks way too short to me here despite it fairly progressive.It won at 2/7 in a 3 runner event last time and on my ratings,it needs to continue to progress to take this. King Arise might bounce on its second run after a long lay off but if it doesnt then its a big danger and represents good value. Tango Tara represents a yard with a 30% strike rate with his chasers here,it returns after a lay off and the market will tell its tale,its not out of it on bare ratings though while Yggdrasil is anohher back from a mammoth absence,I feel the trainer will have it fit as his chasers go well here but whether it can still do it remains open to question. The drop in trip will suit Another Folly and its slightly overpriced while Another Million paid for going toe to toe with the progressive King Turgeon last time,its been given some time to get over that and is another slightly overpriced. NEW ANALYSIS FEATURE(I will analyse 2 or 3 races each day..time permitting) 1222 Southwell 2m4f Chase No Risk Des Flos hails from a yard going well and has the right man on board but it looks far too short to me here, its not top rated on my ratings and is 0w-1p-6r in a tongue tie...i can see it getting outpaced at some point around here and id be amazed if it didnt trade bigger in the run. Bad has only had 2 runs over fences,so it could improve but it didnt from its first run and on my figures,it needs to find more. Eaton Colina ran a nice race on its reappearance as its has no great recrd fresh,on its best runs from last year then id would have it bang there with the slight note that its never won before February in its career. William Cody is up in class and has a lot to find with Eaton Colina on a run last year,its also 0 from 2 at the track and 0 from 12 going left handed but on its last rating(on a right handed track) ,its not far away but the market has got it price about right....
