Race Analysis

1227 Lingfield 2m chase

The prices are generally about right in this event.I have Smart Casual as fav as the yard are going well and this horse is unexposed over fences,if it drifted to 4.5 then i would get involved.

Superstylin likes it here 1w-2p-3r and the rating from last time out was a career best but i feel its a little tight in the betting as it will probably need another career best here.

Angels Dream is inconsistent and is a bit underpriced for me although it might come on for its recent reappearance.

Robins Field is overpriced on my figures but doesnt win ,which is obviously a concern but probably the best value in a tight race is Hokelami,whos mark is tumbling.Its 3 from 6 in fields of 7 or less and on its best rating from last season,its bang there.

(Got a lay in on Angels Dream but the money for the winner was significant.Hokelami probably went off to fast but i doubt it was good enough anyway)

235 Ludlow 2m chase

Alcedo is very difficult to assess,making its chase debut after just 6 runs in its life.It could make a mockery of the race but i generally prefer Venitia Williams horses on very soft ground,so will pass it over.

Cabhfuilfungi has only had 2 runs over fences so has the scope to improve but it didnt make any progression on its second go on my ratings so it looks shorter than it should be in the market.

Famoso is consistent and should be thereabouts but has to be vulnerable to anything progressive or well handicapped.

Wellgowithplanb was progressing well last season but hasnt got going yet,this is a drop in class but i cant have it at the prices.

Although both have shortened overnight,the 2 value horses in the race are Force De Frap and Fast Buck.

The former fell on its first run back but it was getting tired over a trip too far,its best rating from last year over this trip wins this,the trainer is 2 from 3 here in the last year while the latter is well handicapped and gets Pritchard onboard for the first time for a yard that are flying.

(Mess of a race.2 early fallers then Force De Frap nearly slipped up on the bend into the straight but Famoso showed consistency is always a good thing.Fast Buck is going nowhere at present)

 I have had a few enquiries regarding laying systems. I do use a few but i thought I would share one that id been paper trading for several months,however it had made a steady profit but not to the level where I would start using it.
